Help with Identification
I have had a Womens Longines watch for about 25 years, it was a gift. I don't know too much about it. I was hoping some of you "expert" guys had any idea what model it is. I have a picture here that isn't too good, but I can tell you that it is gold tone, the Longines flying hourglass is stamped on the clasp of the bracelet, it has a black dial with no numbers and a diamond where the 12 is. Hampden - Molly Stark 1911
This little Hampden was just bought in our store. Not a problem to find info on the basic watch, some plain, some with engravings, diff colors of overlays, etc. But, I haven't been able to find one with the diamond in the center. The bezel is inside the case, the outer part had some preformed prongs.. Diamond is natural, and the engraving does NOT appear to be added aftermarket..ie; appears factory issue. Anyone have any info on this? Do you need more info? Production 1911 based on serial number. 0 size. Molly Stark movement, Dueber case, as in most of these. Thanks, Chuck

Foreign listings on ebay?
Is there anything to watch out for when considering bidding on a foreign ebay listing, say from India, Israel, Canada, etc.?For example, right now there's a nice looking Rolex with a bid of $92.00, ending very soon, and the location is India.I can't help but be skeptical - not just because it's a foreign listing, but because of the low bid. There are a lot of others as well, and if they're the real deal, and there are no hassles with importing them, they seem like they'd be worth bidding on.I am, however, a firm believer in "If it sounds too good to be true..."Thanks!
