Concord Adds New C1 Chronograph Models
Concord is adding 5 new models to its C1 Chronograph line: rose gold on a brown alligator strap, all black with a carbon fiber dial, the steel and white C1 Pure, anthracite gray, and orange highlights on an orange strap. C1 Chronographs measure 44mm in diameter and 16.7mm thick. Layered dials present time on a 3D palate. Each case has 53 components and is water-resistant to 20 atm. The 3.3mm thick sapphire crystals are anti-reflective coated on both sides. Tavannes?
I happened across this brand this afternoon. I've never heard of them.The watch I looked at was a Tavannes Ocean Edge; a limited edition model. It was just about the heaviest watch I've ever worn. I would rate it a 12 on the Stitch Scale.Can anyone tell me anything about the brand? The watch was less expensive that I would've thought. Is it a worthy consideration?Muchos grassyass!

New Pics of my RG 44
I've taken a few new pics of my beloved 44 in the last few weeks so thought I'd put them up and some older ones. I just love all the layers and finishes of this complex watch, and I've ordered the red GP strap too as I really want to bring out the red accents on the dial.

What is it?
Upon arriving home from a week-long journey, I found myself in possession of a new steel on steel 311.30.42.30.01.002 40th Anniversary Moon Landing timepiece. Apparently -- my wife hasn't found me so objectionable after 30 years of marriage. ;>)In looking at the back of the watch, I've noticed a small mark that's roundish in nature and appears 'frosted' in color. It is so light that I've yet to see it appear in a photo of this model. It is almost imperceptible. It appears just prior to the word THE in the wording, THE FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON. The large photo that I've included is stock Omega. I can't get close enough with my own camera to do justice to the explanation. It's absence in the stock Omega photo may well be just that. It is absent.From the shape, I'm wondering if it isn't the same mark (small photo) that I have seen on the back of a Schumacher model 321.32.44.50.01.001 where it's very obvious?Is this the star that I've read about that doesn't necessarily appea
