I'm looking into buying one of these, the one that has an inlaid piece of wood from the Calypso on the case back.I have seen prices online that range from $4,500 to $8,500, a large range...How much should I pay for one BNIB, I'm being offered one for $8,500 which I think it's pretty steep.Any input will be appreciated.Here's a picture of the watch:

I picked up the new iW (International Watch) magazine and noticed a large section in the back displaying new watches I've never heard of. I like to see this stuff because I am getting tired of seeing large photos of $17,000 watches in all the magazines. I need to find a magazine with more affordable options for the working stiffs like myself. I'm not a bankster; I can't just print what I like.So, anyway, here is an example of a watch I like and would wear for some fun.
