Vintage Lange & Sohne wristwatches
Hello all:I am trying to pull enough info together to do a story on Lange & Sohne wristwatches for the NAWCC Bulletin. I hope I can prevail upon forum members for some information/insight and maybe some images that you would let me borrow for the article (with due credit given, of course!)It appears the company made military/pilot wristwatches from the get-go when they made the transition from pocket to wristwatches. Other than a few "civilian" examples I've seen from Gisbert Joseph's website archives, I have never seen a wristwatch of theirs that WASN'T a military watch! Did they make many "regular" wristwatches from the 1910s up until '45? Or did they more or less go from pocket watches right to military wristwatches with no "stop" in between to make some "regular" (i.e., non military) wristwatches? If anyone has some examples, I'd love to see them!Did some Lange wristwatches use movements by Glashutte? (Gisbert Joseph's website seems to indicates so.) The two companies were obvi

Turning watch collecting into business, like an LLC???
Interesting question that I have considered...We are all watch enthusiasts and collectors, but what about kicking it up a notch and running it like a part time home business? Why not? I know several friends that have hobby's such as ATV racing that they have formed LLCs (limited liability company, here in USA) to operatate it as a business.I never really thought of doing so for watch collecting, but it makes sense since the inventory does change as we buy and sell. Would there be advantages to this?I would be interested in your collective thoughts on this interesting twist to our love and affection for all things horology.Thanks in advance,Regards,

Is it rebairable???? (((Pics))))
Hello my friends been while since i last post here, recently i bought an AP ROO navy blue I serial from 2014 and although the watch was used but its in good shape. Couple days ago ive noticed 2 things that botheres me and would lile to know if its rebairable 1) in the pics i focused with the louple in the area above the chrono pusher under the rubber ring there is a dent and although its too small but gives me hard times and my question is is it rebairable by laser welding at AP service center AND would it ever leave mark OR be an weak spot in the case??2) also above number 2 inside the glass i saw a piece of dust + on the rotor also spotted 13) finally the chrono ring between 90 and 100 i saw some kind of orange colour but iam not sure what it is exactly!!The dealer i bought the watch from confirm that the watch never been opened and frankly speaking i did not see any sign of opening the caseback or bezel not even the holes in the sides, does it count as a manufacture flaws or is ther
