Breitling A1338111/BC33 170A wrist watches news:
hi new on here today.need help to identify a reference number for a watch i've been offered.its an 18k rose gold speedmaster,it was sold new in a jewelers in greece in 2006. the watch has been inspected by the watchsmith i use and has all the right markings etc. it comes in a genuine box and with the credit card style watch cards. the movement is a calibre 1151 ,does this exist?.the reference number on the card however is giving me concern its a model 3623 50 11. i can't find any info on this being a genuine omega number but can find lots of replica watch sites with this reference code being quoted,i've checked omega and watchfinder, neither give any results on this ref no..the watches identification number on the watch back matches the card too.any help would be great as something doesn't add up. thank you
I've recently got round to thinking about APs strategy to minimise market flow by reducing manufacturing and moving from ADs to Boutiques. Whilst AP is not in the same league as both Rolex and Patek in relation to value retention these two moves could be positive news for those holding coveted models. My blue faced 15400 is now 3.5k more expensive than what it was 1year ago when bought new whilst Rolex prices have not moved and Patek have made reductions.I, like most here buy watches because I like them and I love my 15400. I cannot see any reason why I would ever look to sell but facts such as the above do offer some comfort not least considering the fact I lost 25% on my ROC 3 years back.
I really want an originally sized Royal Oak (read not 41mm), but the 15202 is out of the question due to price. Therefore my next step, is naturally to look to a 15300. Now I was initially leaning to either a blue or black dial in any Royal Oak model, but that DAMN contrasting date ring on the 15300 just makes me want to pop a vein and start murdering people! Please tell me I'm not the only one!?P.S. I have come to a realisation that I do actually like the white dial a whole lot more than I initially thought
HiCan my omega sea master be over wound on my watch winder?I know my rolex has a clutch so it cannot be over wound, wondering if the sea master is the same?Any help would be appreciated, thankstomtt subss sea master
Earlier in the forum there was a photo of a black dialed Bond Seamaster, which looks quite nice. Personally, I would love to see a return to the older style of Constellation. The kind they used to make in the 1950's. Given their current line of DeVille models, I am guessing this is unlikely. Still, I admire those older Constellations. What is your wish?
