Hi guys! had a question on 2nd owner warranty? friend traded me his deepsea, will RSC honor 2 year warranty to me even if his name is on warranty card??? or will he have to send it to RSC if anything happens to it??? does warranty follow the watch or does it get cut when it changes hands to new owner????Thanks

What does Mako mean? I have a couple of Orient diver watches that seem to be referred to as Makos although Orient doesn't use this name at all. I've seen the label applied on other brands of diver watches including Invicta and others. What is the source of the word? What is the differentiating feature that warrants a Mako label?Mike.

Changing the date on certain watches?
Hello, I'm a relative newbie to watches and have read in several places that on certain watches you shouldn't change the date between 9 - 3. So, I assume you just set the watch to some time outside of this time, say 6 - then proceed to change the date?Does this apply to all mechanical watches? Thanks in advance.Steve
