Invicta 12445 wrist watches news:
The boys over at Worn & Wound turned us onto what appears to be a very noble project out of LA - the production of a three book series on American wristwatches during the deco design period.? The first book, centered completely on the Hamilton Watch company, has already been produced and is ready to ship.? Mr. Ty Alibert Rulli has turned to Kickstarter for the funding of the next two books, and the promotion of the entire series.? His goal is to reach $75,000.? We had the LPGA tour in town this week and Michelle Wie made her Rochester debut. My wife and I followed her around the course on Saturday. She is an awesome physical specimen at the ripe age of 18 and when she matures she will probably be a force to reckon with on tour. Right now, she is still learning.I read somewhere that last year, she earned 19 million dollars and part of that was her promotional deal with Omega. After being as close to her as 10 feet several times on Saturday, I can attest to the fact that she is wearing the diamond bezeled Omega model seen above. . . while she is playing golf. I don't think I would wear a watch of that caliber while playing golf.
A "Grail Watch" means different things to different people and can be at any price point. My "Holy Grail" would be a Breguet, however I can't imagine ever having the resources to make me comfortable spending that kind of money for a watch. I've long had a couple of others GrailsThe Rolex Explorer I and the Omega SMP. I've wanted an Omega Seamaster for years. My first memory of looking at watches in a jewelry store had me drooling all over their Omega case. On Monday, I got an email ad from a grey market dealer with a fantastic price and it got me thinking (obsessing) about it. I picked up the phone and called my favorite AD, told him about the price and asked him what he could do. He got really competitive and today it arrived!I looked hard at the PO, but I've got smallish wrists and figured that the SMPc's more svelt dimensions would be a better long term option for me. I had some serious reservations about the 2500 movement after reading about some of the issues with the A and B
Hi all, I have scratched the bezel on my Panda. Its a silver line about 5mm in length. I cannot feel it with my nail but it seems to have polished off the brushed effect and is now shiny silver. Sound familiar ? I had started to think this was just inevitable but having seen some pictures from the forum of other members watches with no scratches I am now thinking I should get this repaired. ( ia m unlucky) I take grate care of it and have no idea how its been done. Please can you advise of the options open to me ?
hello,I am new to the forum. I have always liked the Rolex Sub, but never pulled the trigger because I thought it was small at 40mm. Now I have an opportunity to buy a 43mm SD from my AD. Quite a lot of money at US $11.35k, but I like the watch a lot. I have read all the forums and thoughts on it. My main concern is comfort and wearability. I own a 42mm Breitling Navitimer on a metal pilot bracelet from 1995. I find I never wear it as the band is not that comfortable. I had the bracelet made very loose..so when my wrist is cold, the watch spins around, and when hot, I end up unclasping. I ended up putting a leather strap on, but still wear infrequently.I also own a 44mm Panerai. I just put a RubberB on that watch, but still find it a little annoying. Either the rubber grabs wrist hair, the head of the watch is too heavy and the Panerai Tang buckle annoys the thin sensitive skin on my wrist/veins. I know you guys now think I am nuts. I bought a Panatime flat tang spring t
