Ulysse Nardin Ulysse Nardin 24940 wrist watches news:
Hi,I have recently purchased my first Hamilton watch from ebay for $40.I did my own CLA and the 770 cal is very simple and easily serviceable.I did some searching and this model seems to be call Braford but the watch case and back look different than the regular Braford.I'm not very sure if it is original or a franken watch. I actuallly like the "Philco" marking on the dial which make the watch a little interesting. The watch dial is missing some of the hour marking but in actual look it doesn't really compromise a lot of the look. I am thinking to get some rhinestone to replace the missing marker or source a replacement dial. Then, I might just leave it as it is as it is kind of unique.IMGP0042.jpgIMGP0044.jpgIMGP0045.jpgIMGP0047.jpg
I've really come to be fond of the NATO-style straps. I'm looking for suggestions of a watch to throw on.I currently own a china-town Rolex, Baume & Mercier Classima 8688, Omega Seamaster Professional Titanium, ORIS Artelier #7494, 1960s Omega Seamaster (have to date it), Seiko 5 Automatic Blue.I do like the green face Seiko Alpinist.So...suggestions for a nice watch to throw on a NATO-style strap for daily wear?
I saw in Paralia where I was on vacation this week a Jacques Leman watch which was 100EUR.The salesman at the jewelery shop claimed that it was with swiss movement...but nowhere in the watch-not in the dial, neither in the case-back was ,,swiss made,,...So I want to ask those who know-are all Jacques Leman watches ,,swiss made,, with swiss movement? The original ones,of course. Thanks to everyone who answers.
French made? 7 jewel, I thought it looked interesting, I cant quite make out the hallmark under the balance or the nuber, here's a couple of pics any info would be great, I'm geussing 50's era.i think 238 is under balance
No other choice for me than Blue & Gold today!!!GO NAVY BEAT ARMY!!!
