Casio EF-500D-1AVEF wrist watches news:
G'day all, just got back from leave and want to share a great experience with you that my wife Tracey and I had as guests of Rolex at the Australian Tennis Open.I bought a LV Sub last year and was surprised when I got a phone call from the dealer in December inviting Trace and I to dinner at the tennis followed by the night session on day 1.The day finally came around and we drove to the AD, got on the mini bus with about 10 other lucky Rolex customers and set off for Rod Laver Arena.Straight to the Rolex Marquee for drinks, a lovely dinner and some great conversation. There were reps on each table from Rolex Aust and I enjoyed talking Rolex history etc etc. Absolute surperb hosts. We were all given a bag of goodies to take home. Each bag had a calender, 2 catalogs, shirt, cap and tennis balls! I was rapt as I like to collect Rolex nic-nacs. See pics below. We then walked over to the arena and sat in court-side seats - very front row- and watched 2 good tennis matches. We had a great ni
This is my first post to the forum, so I thought I'd say "hi" to members. I've been interested in pocket and wrist watches since I was a kid - my uncle was a watchmaker who used to take me to his workshop - but I started collecting pocket watches in earnest a few years ago. I collect American makes such as Hamilton, Waltham and Elgin, and my collection is mainly Railroad pocket watches, with a few military pocket watches as well. I have a couple of Hamilton wristwatches from the 1940s, and an Elgin or two.Regards,Will
Seiko released another new model in their Seiko 5 sports series recently. This model spots an interesting dial with a rotating bezel compass (rotating compass bezel not useful outside the Northern Hemisphere though). I thought the hour markers look rather cool. This watch is black TICN treated and powered by 7s36 movement.Seiko 5 SNZJ11K1Cheers!
