Like the kid says: INCOMING!Got a text from Windy that she wanted to open the box - which means I got a package. I bet she tried to open her younger brother's and sister's Christmas gifts too. Luckily it remained intact so I could have the fun!Oh yeah, gotta love the anticipation!Better than described. .and skinnier than a runway model.Of course I made an immediate switch from the Breitling to the n00b!

e-bay/on-line watch purchase disasters
I guess all wis go through a period where they are constantly scanning for their next purchase via e-bay. And I'm sure that plenty have had god-awful e-buy purchase horror stories. If you're not too embarrased to share why not tell us some of your experiences.My most recent watch disaster (I've had a few) was when I bought a vintage enicar for what was very little money. The watch was described as being re-dialled and the seller said that being an old watch he wasn't able to guarantee it's accuracy.When the watch arrived the re-dialled face turned out to be a very amateurish affair, the second markers appeared to be painted by hand with very uneven strokes of varying thickness. The movement seized the very first time I tried to wind it. Now I'm keeping the watch hidden in my messenger bag safe from my critical eye and also my wife. When I have the money and feel less peeved-off I might have the watch 'rescued' and brought back to life with a proper restoration.

New transocean chrono?
I'm thinking of selling my Grand Seiko SBGE001 to pick up the new transocean chrono. Do we have any owners out here? Does it wear consistent with it's size? How is the strap? It looks quite thick in the pictures so I wonder about it's flexibility and comfort.How is the resale value on these things? I don't see many second hand which leads me to wonder whether they are being sold or if people just love them so much they aren't on the market.
