1120 Movement Sounds
Hi All,When winding your cal 1120 watch, do you notice any sounds at all?When I first purchased my 2254.50 over a year ago, the winding was buttery smooth and the movement didn't make any noise. 6 months later, when manually winding the watch I could hear a slightly raspy grinding sound, which I'm accustomed to on all other automatics I've had the experience of winding. Now, there is this noticeably louder clicking sound when I wind the watch. It only occurs once with each time I twist the crown...and can be heard even if I extend my arms and wind the watch far away from me. Now, I noticed this problem when the watch is fully wound, and haven't had a chance to let the power reserve dwindle and test it again when it's not fully wound. I kinda have a hunch that it's the 'clutch thing' that engages whenever a watch is fully wound to prevent overwinding.
