Breitling A2336035/f555-1lT wrist watches news:
Dunhill, aka. A. Dunhill (Alfred Dunhill) is a English brand under the Richemont umbrella. Really rare in the US, these pieces are known to be popular in Asian (where "Western" things are often always en vogue). They do however have some nice designs that I think would appeal to more demographics. While they don't come out with a lot of new watches - some of them are quite nice with a healthy mixture of classic British appeal and avant garde interest.Alfred Dunhill himself was known for offering a lot of motoring accessories - so the brand's watches often have a high-end "car guy" feel to them. This watch is called the Wheel Watch Chronograph. It is part of a larger collection, but this one is a limited edition Chronograph model. You can search online for other Dunhill Wheel watch variants. I don't think any of them are made anymore. At first glance the watch may look like it needs crutches, being "one lugged" and all. But the interesting use of one lug on each side gives it a sort of t
Hey Gals and GuysYou've seen some great watches in our WOTD and Homage to Bienne series and I was wondering if you had a wish for Omega to bring back something from the past.If you did, which watch would you like Bienne to re-issue?I'll start this off by saying that one of my choices would be these -
Good evening all,I'm new to watches and am searching for some information on a watch that was my great grandfathers. I think i have it narrowed down as a Hamilton Glenn, but I'm not completely sure . I found this link on your site: watchtalkforums.info/foru...ir-needed.html But as you can see in my pictures (sorry about the quality) the crystal on my watch is rounded, not squared off on the corners, and tapers into the case. The back of the movement has these inscriptions:hamilton 74717 jewelsadjustedusay67535Inside the back of the case has these inscriptions:a8-26-61 - seems to be hand engraved/scratched ina6-16-34 - seems to be hand engraved/scratched ins776966S&W - surrounded in a boxI have done some searching but am unable to find any decent information on this timepiece. I'd like to know the model, date of manufacture and any other pertinent information you may be able to provide; or at least a push in the right direction to find said information. Thank you in advance for a
It's widely accepted now that Buzz Aldrin did not wear one as the first watch on the moon, so the question becomes, who did? What missions?I've come across some speculation that 145.012s were worn on Apollo 13, but nothing confirmed. Does anybody here know? Links would be great!
I haven't posted in a long time. It's nice to be back. Today I noticed that the pearl on the bezel of my Submariner is missing. I have no idea when and how it fell. I found a few available for sale on Amazon, not sure if they are original Rolex parts (doubt it) but I wanted to ask if you guys recommend to put one of these of should I take my watch for repair. If it's the latter can anyone recommend a reputable repair service in Miami? Sending it to the Rolex center in NY seems like an overkill for this, not to mention the outrageous price they will surely quote me. Thanks for your valuable advice.
