This is a Raymond Weil vintage mechanical.The back is marked:RWRaymond Weil5547Water resistantThis is a vintage Hamilton from around 1939 I think as the back is marked with the previous owner's name and 1939. There is also a marking on one of the lugs: 14K Gold Filled [S&W]. It's a bright yellow gold. This image is one the seller took.

AD-is it really worth it?
I know that this topic has to hve been brought up before, but I want to hear some opinions on this subject. So I was at a store the other day, and I was trying on a couple of Monaco's and thought I would go ahead and inquire about price. I have done research on the watch in the past, so I had a general idea of what he was going to say, but I had no idea it was going be at such a high mark up. For the base black dial model it was about 1k increase from online stores, and the blue dial chronograph was about $1500 above what I have seen it. So is there any play in these numbers? Is it worth it to buy at that mark up, just for the face to face interaction? It just doesn't seem worth it to me!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
