The best "getting a SS Daytona story" I ever heard, today! :o)
So I'm at this Porsche event that's in Rockville, Maryland today and this older gent shows up with a beautiful old 88 911 Turbo (930 - Slant Nose turbo). He's wearing the same black dialed Daytona that I have on and his wife is wearing a DJ with diamonds on the bezel, oyster bracelet, something I don't usually see. Strap Storage Solution
I was looking for a handy way to store my strap collection. If you have a watch collection you need a strap collection, right??I found this on ebay. It's designed to hold 20 watches/bracelets, but it will also hold 40 straps very nicely.It measures 10 inches by 15 inches, ( 25 cm by 38 cm) and when closed is 1.25 inches ( 3.2 cm ) thick.Best of all it cost me less then the price of an average strap.

Old "O" Pera pocket watch need information!
Hi, so recently my grandmother came to me with this watch, she said it my my grand-father's pocket watch. Guessing with the time and etc.. I figured it would be from the 1950's or something like that. Here is a picture blueminingf.net/pocketwatch.JPGAt the bottom of the watch you can see it is written "SWISS MADE" the watch is essentially made of silver looking metal, the chain is a "Snake chain" also one important thing, the watch works with a spring not a batterie, I thus need to crink it each daySorry for the bad english :P It's not my best language.P.S If this is the wrong section please tell me ill move this thread to the good one.
