Breitling a1736402/ba31-1rd wrist watches news:
My search for Hamilton's has made me decide to visit a watch fair here in The Netherlands. There were a lot of (especially!) French and German dealers. (As a big Elvisfan I saw the same watch that Elvis wore in 1956. I knew it was a Lord Elgin but I could never figure out what model. Today I learned it was a "Direct Read" and known as The Tank. "Our German Friend" had an asking price of a whopping 850 euro's.Much to my surprise I could hardly find any Hamiltons. Only a handfull and none of them Electric. Dealers told me that they are hard to find! I guess this is because it is of American origin, and not many made it to Europe. However I did find a Pacer. The guy who is selling it says that the movement was damaged beyond repair. This is the reason why he has replaced it with a quartz movement. (It is his own watch, which he has worn for about two years).Personally speaking the reason why I like Hamilton so much is because of the beautiful designs of Richard Arbib. So it does not matter
Hi,i'm interested in the AP chronograph 25940,this watch with rubber bezel looks verry robust but is it really so?thanks
Hello,I'm new to the forum and have enjoyed reading many of the posts. I have a friend who over to sell me his PAM 104. I believe its a 2007 model. As you can see in the picture the crown guard is missing and I would like to have it replaced with an original one. He is willing to sell the PAM 104 with the rubber band and deployment buckle for $2,500. I was thinking that a new replacement crown guard and service would run me another $1000-$1500. IS that an accurate guess. Does anybody know what an OEM crown guard costs? All I have been able to find are replicas on eBay. Thanks in advance for your help.
I had a deposit at my local AD for the BLNR for a few months. While on a long drive today I called a few small dealers on my route. One of them said they just got a BLNR in that day and it was available. I was no more than 20 minutes away when I called. Obviously I got a refund on my deposit. Am I the Luckiest guy ever?
Called an AD today looking for stock and pricing on a YM Rhodium. Sad part is no stock, and no discount.Apparently it's a very hard watch to get. I can get you a blue one anytime, but the rhodium not so much On another note, he mentioned that they call it the Bruce Willis. He came into the shop and liked it and bought 3. One for himself, his assistant, and the director. Still took Bruce Willis 3 months to get them. I guess I don't have as much clout as Bruce Willis. Do you think it will catch on?
