This article should benefit your perception of media and advertising. Today I take issue with use of terms such as "over sized, over stuffed, over...anything." They make me angry! And I'd like you to feel the same way anytime you see or hear them.I recall a few years ago looking to purchase a new comforter for my bed. I kept seeing the same thing time after time, "over stuffed" with goose down. I had no idea what this meant. Is there some governing body of "Sizes and Stuffing Standards" that dictates how much things ought to be stuffed or sized? Where these pioneering comforter makers ruthlessly defying such standards by putting just a bit too much in the offending comforter? Resulting in the dreadful "overstuffed" label? Oh for shame, rebellious maker of over stuffed goods. Whatever will the consumer think with their bedding on the verge of explosion? Perhaps that is why you are forced to peddle your goods solely on eBay, you rogue bedding trader.But the "over" label does not stop the

Ok all....Taking a cue from Neonracers "Disappointed in a grail watch" thread, let's take a slightly different approach..Which grails have you bought that you love & fawn over as much or more than you did the day you bought it? Which grail has exceeded your grail-status & exceeded your hopes & expectations?I've only bought 1 true grail. I've got a couple on the list, but this is the only one I've been able to buy...I'd been wanting a 18K sport watch for quite awhile, and was looking at several models / brands. I finally narrowed it down to the Breitling Headwind. Something dressy yet still sporty enough to wear with jeans. But it was discontinued in '05, and not that many 18K's were made. 5711 sitting for almost two weeks
Just an observation, went to Tysons 2 Mall in VA in middle of January and saw PP 5177 in white dial sitting on the shelf and last night I saw it again. Basel 2018 Timeline Refresher
So Basel starts Thursday 3/22 (although there may be a press day on Wed 3/21 at nights?).That's roughly 34 days from now.With a lot of companies, we will begin to see Pre-Basel introductions of new models.With Rolex, not so much.Maybe a few cryptic teasers.When will the information be available to the public?Will Rolex update its site first on 3/22 or will people who visit Basel have to post on our forum to let us know what models are new (even if they post pics weeks later)?
