Breitling 81190 wrist watches news:
May 1, 2014, marks an important milestone in the Swiss watch industry. It is 175 years ago to the day that Patek Philippe ¡ª perhaps the world’s most prestigious Swiss watch brand, and the last family-owned watch company in Geneva ¡ª was founded. In a letter released to the press, Patek Philippe president Thierry Stern states:“Today, May 1, 2014, I am happy to announce the 175th anniversary of Patek Philippe, and the imminent launch of a special timeline at patek to showcase our history – the longest uninterrupted history of any watch brand. The timeline will be continuously enriched throughout the year, with fascinating stories from our past and present.“We believe that one of the secrets of our success has been our independence (we are the last family-owned watch manufacture in Geneva). Over the years, this freedom has allowed us to be truly creative, innovative, and pioneering – as demonstrated in our impressive repertoire of patents, our unique designs, a
Timebender's great thread on your top 3 watches made me wonder about the next step.....WHAT ARE THE NEXT TWO (or three if you really plan ahead :)) WATCHES YOU ARE PLANNING ON ACQUIRING...??If you don't know two, what about the next one? Most people have some idea (or a mad burning desire) about their next watch. So, to kick this off, these are the next two watches I would love to own, and would seriously start saving for (i.e., these are not your 'dream' watches, but ones you really intend adding to the collection)Sinn 857 UTCRolex SeadwellerOf course, nothing's ever set in stone when it comes to watches.so don't hold me to this list So let me see what you don't have, but plan to get.....
Greetings TRF,I came across this on my way home two days ago. Would you experts care to chime in and tell me what you think? I kind of find it very...thin...Stay tuned...
I know there's been lots of talk about the astronomical prices of SS sports watches on the used market these days. The reasons for the increases seem to be partly rational, i.e. permanent/temporary freezes on production of certain models, the Basel effect, etc. Some of it seems to be due to hive mind, speculation, and collective panic.I'm fairly new to the Rolex game, so I was wondering if those with some institutional memory can pipe in as to whether used prices tend to be cyclical and we can expect them to come down a bit after Basel, or whether they are likely to head inexorably upward.Any opinions?
I was in my car little earlier and snapped this pic. I don't think I will ever be able to sell/flip this watch! Stunned these don't get more love here.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
