Breitling A1732136/G717-diver-pro-ii-black-tang wrist watches news:
Can I contact Rolex with a serial number to obtain the last service date (if any) on a pre-owned watch? I've owned my K serial SD for a while now but want to check on its svc history.
My lovely wife has given me a Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic as a father's day gift. My first "grownup" watch. I couldn't be happier. However, I noticed a few peculiarities that I thought I'd share with the group and solicit feedback. The packaging that accompanies the watch is incorrect. The box has a sticker which indicates that it is for a Khaki Officer model, not the Jazzmaster that I received. Also, when I research the model number inscribed on the back of the watch "H324550", all of the search results are from China. Furthermore, when I go to the Hamilton web site, I cannot locate a watch that exactly visually matches the one that I received. If it wasn't for the fact that it was purchased from a reputable local jeweler, I would be suspicious about its authenticity. So my questions for the group are:1) Is it unreasonable for me to return to the place of purchase and request the correct packaging (box) for this watch?and2) Is model H324550 so rare that I would not expect to find any En
I really fallen in love with this model. I do not currently own any AP. In the past I have bought only Rolex at least recently due to depreciation and durability. I am seriously considering making this my next purchase , the 15202... all white or blue, whichever I can see locallly... can anybody please weigh in on the durability of these watches? I really read up on them and it seems like the Crown does not screw in, so does that mean this watch is not watertight? .. is this a delicate wash or is adorable enough to where at least during rainstorms for when I walk a dog? Ha ha. I have concerns over durability just because I have never owned anything from this maker .. I tend to compare everything to Rolex, which holds value, doesn¡¯t too greatly depreciate, and is pretty durable.. at least sports models. Has anyone been disappointed in buying a 15202.. i¡¯ve searched through a lot of reviews on here and I¡¯ve only seen positive feedback. I am just wondering about people¡¯s thoughts on
An invite to one of the most exclusive UK golf clubs with Lee Westwood and a hole in one competition to win an Offshore! AP is undoubtedly the coolest watch brand.
So, recently I have become interested in manual wind chronographs. I think a watch of this type might eventually become a realistic grail. I am planning to have around $50,000 in the watch fund given a couple of years of saving. I really enjoy manual wind watches when I've owned them and miss all the attention they need to stay ticking away . A chronograph / timing bezel + date are also my favourite complications. I also find power reserve and pulsometer useful to a lesser extent (work in a hospital). One of the watches I have been reading about is the Patek 5070 & 5170 models. Priced at around $80,000 they are quite beautiful but expensive. I have been researching other watch brands and stumbled upon the Lange 1815 chrono for around $50,000...this is a bit closer to something I can realistically afford in the next few years. The Lange Datograph seems to have everything I need but it is SO EXPENSIVE . Watches like the platinum Daytona also become a tempting at this price range (alt
