Hi all!I'm berry from Italy.I got in gift this fantastic watch and from this started my vintage passion :)From the serial seems to be around 1951 but i'm not able to find informations able to track the model name and the calibreIs a manual wind.Any help or partial infos is appreciated.I'm also trying to restore the original buckle but i need to check which longines' logo was impressed on 1951CheersBerry
I had this custom strap made but I'm not really sure it works. It's a tan strap with blue stitching. Maybe I should have gone for a darker brown strap with blue stitching. Or possibly dark brown with green stitching to match the numerals. Some people like the combo and some don't. What do you think? Is it a Yay or Nay?
Hey everyone! First time in this neck of the woods so be nice I have always been a Rolex and Omega guy. I recently acquired my first Panerai and as you can guess I have my heart set on a Royal Oak as my next watch. For lack of a better term, the Royal Oak 15400st has been sort of a grail for me, except unlike most true grails, I can own this watch one day. The question is, when? I've recently blown through my toy budget, so no matter what my next watch will likely not arrive in the very near future. Especially since venturing into the $15,000 range for a watch will take me a little while to be ready to commit. With that said, there are of course other, cheaper watches that I love. There are always Rolexes on my radar, but there is one watch out there that has a similar look to the RO, in fact along with the Royal Oak, it comes from the genius mind of G¨¦rald Genta. It's the IWC Ingenieur 3239.In the pre-owned market it can be had for more than $7k savings compared to the RO. The des
I ended up falling in love with something else...i could NOT pass it up...i havent felt love like this in a while...all i can say is WOW! this might get moved...but I wanted to share! I LOVE THIS WATCH! brand new BREITLING COLT II AUTOMATIC BLACK DIAL!!!!!! what a beauty at 41mm..black dial is gorgeous..LUME IS AMAZING..movement is COSC and very accurate so far. the colt in red...it just caught my eye..and i fell in love! the high polish case/bracelet...i just couldnt walk away without it..so here she is.sorry for the crappy iphone pics, but i was so excited to share her with you! i included a stock photo to make up for it a bit. I finally figured it out at the AD when I tried the gv and the breitling colt II on side by side...i just had to go with the one i loved..and also..this is the same model watch worn by john travolta in taking of peltham 123! which was cool as hell to see the scene...
Hi there am I right in thinking the dd40 was launched in 2015? I am considering getting one in gold. How often do Rolex usually update their watches do you think this will be around for another 5 years or so without any changes to their day date range? Thank you
