Breitling A17312C9/BD91BKORT wrist watches news:
Frederique Constant's newest watch with an in-house made movement is both useful and attractive. Building upon their core in-house automatic with an "open heart" display of the escapement, this newer model with the Caliber FC-938 automatic boasts the time with a second time zone in a subsidiary dial. Making for a good traveler's watch, the second time zone is displayed in a simple 12 hour format. AM/PM indication is preserved via a small day/night indicator located at 8 o'clock on the small dial. The new Heart Beat Manufacture Dual Time Automatic will come in a range of styles. Most (if not all) of them will be limited editions. I am not totally sure why they do this is as it seems Frederique Constant could go mainstream with the collection. The truth is likely in that they are constantly refining the collection and it makes more sense to build limited batches of these watches. Each of the watches come in 42mm wide case, with steel and at least one 18k gold model. The simple cases are at
I hate to start my thread this way but I have my Granny's Omega watch and I would like to know if anyone can give me any information on it. I am told by my Aunt that my Grandfather purchased it while in Germany (They were married 70+ years so I'm thinking 1940s). The caseback has hallmarks for 18k, .750, the ladies head, Omega Watch Co, Fab Suisse, Swiss Made. I can plainly read 6 digits of the serial number and then it looks like there is a 9 but not like the other 9 in the serial number (not closed) and then a 2 I think. I have what I believe is a manual wind movement separate from the watch. The manual wind movement has Omega on it and a serial number. There is a quartz movement in the watch now. It appears that maybe a watchmaker (or not so much of one) at some point removed the manual wind movement and replaced it with the quartz movement. The face & hands looks original. I would just like to know if anyone can tell me anything about the watch. If what I'm thinking is true I w
Hi everyone,I'm struggling with a decision about pursuing the Omega Speedmaster Pro (3570.50 or the 3573.50). I keep coming back to it but can never pull the trigger on it. I already have a chronograph, and several other nice watches (i.e., Rolex, Omega, GS). My near-daily watches are the Rolex Sub-date and the Rolex Explorer II-Polar.Why the hesitation about the Speedmaster Pro? It's a manual wind, doesn't have a date, and the issue of the hesalite crystal. I like the warmer 'look' of the hesalite crystal (3570.50) better than the sapphire crystal (i.e. 3753.50) but appreciate the practical aspects of the sapphire crystal. Im forgetful, and often check my watch several times during the day to remind myself the date. But no matter how often I go through other watches, I keep coming back to the Omega Speedmaster Pro. I love the Speedmaster Pro's history and I love its balanced beauty. My wife thinks its silly that I always check out the Speedmaster Pro when I stroll through different mal
Hi guys!I wanted to buy 116234 with silver face but while traveling I got an absolute killer offer on a blue one! 22% off the price tag. Here¡¯s the beauty Pulled the trigger.I¡¯m still pondering was it the right decision.I was also told that for 500€ I can get the dial replaced at Rolex no problem. I would have two dials and still pay less than what I was offered on high street. What are your thoughts buddy¡¯s? Who prefers the blue or the silver!
Just curious. Please post pics if you have...
