Breitling A1931012/G750 - 154A wrist watches news:
The November-December 2015 issue of WatchTime is on newsstands now (and also in the WatchTime online shop), featuring our test of the revamped Lange 1 from A. Lange & S?hne, an in-depth report on Vacheron Constantin’s ¨¹ber-complicated Ref. 57260, and more. Scroll down for highlights from the issue¡? For the cover story, ¡°The Same, Only Different,¡± Jens Koch tests the new A. Lange & S?hne Lange 1, which looks almost exactly like the old one except for one big difference: an all-new in-house movement. Did the Saxon brand make a good move updating this classic? Original photos are by Nik Sch?lzel. (You may also download this article from the WatchTime online store.)? Watch historian Gisbert L. Brunner provides the perfect companion piece to the Lange 1 test feature, “A. Lange & S?hne Milestones,” a comprehensive look at the 17 most important and historic A. Lange & S?hne watches, from the brand’s first grand complication in 1902 to last year’s
L¨¹m-Tec, without fail, delivers some of the most intense new watches every year. Unique, masculine and tough-as-nails, their watches have a character all to their own. We've taken a look at several different models over the last couple of years, including the M33, Combat and V series and are always left impressed. When we saw an early preview drawing of the 300M series, we were particularly excited by it. Not just because it is cool looking, and a bit different than other watches in their line, but also because it was available in two sizes, 40 and 45mm.With tons of large watches flooding the market at any given moment, a 40mm tool diver stands out. The 300M series is available in a total of 4 models comprised of 2 sizes in either steel or PVD. Today, we'll take a look at the 300M-2, which is the PVD 40mm version. Featuring a sapphire crystal and bezel, 2 straps, 300M water resistance and a Seiko Sii NH35 movement, this is the kind of over-built diver you'd expect from L¨¹m-Tec.Case: PV
This is my new Orbita Sparta Executive that Kevin at Orbita helped me obtain. So far the fit and finish is outstanding. Only problem is the felt interior lining on the top of the lower compartment has fallen during shipment and lost some of its adhesive...easily fixed with contact cement. But is is definetly worth every penny. It is working flawlessly and is unable to be heard except for the click at the end of the rotation cycle that is barley audible. I only wish it had a glass window to view the watches but I just leave the case open when home. Some Photos with the Omega's moved in:
It seems the only AP AD in Texas I have heard of is in Frisco. Does anyone know of any other places that carry a collection of AP's in Texas? I'm really wanting a 15300, and even though I know it's discontinued I'd really like to check out some others and try them on before I buy Grey. Any places in the DFW or Austin area that have a selection of used AP's?Thanks Gentleman,Six
I am contemplating acquiring a Patek 5524g in the very near future. Would love to hear from current and former owners of this reference. If you did own the 5524g and parted ways with it, was there a particular reason? Unfortunately the local AD is sold out of this model so I am not able to try it on. I am less concerned about the 42mm size as I am about the 2 Travel Time pushers on the left side of the case digging into the wrist. Has anyone experienced this issue?Thank you in advance for your input.
