Dievas is following up the original Vortex with this Vortex Professional. I always liked the original Vortex. It more or less combined the best features of a dive watch with the best features of an aviator watch. Hi everyone. I am hoping that someone out there may be able to help me with regards to a watch that I am contemplating purchasing. The watch that I have my eye on is a 1950s 18K Gold Longines Conquest with a black dial. The watch appears to be in wonderful condition. Is there anything that I should particularly look for in this model? I have never purchased a vintage Longines so I don't really have a clue. I am based in the UK as is the seller. Many thanks in advance.

I see a lot of folks wearing a watch on the right wrist. Always thought left was considered the traditional way of wearing a timepiece. A bit of a silly question to ask, that I know but, I was just curious to those who wear it on the right. Is it because you're left handed and you wear it on the right?
