Breitling A13355 wrist watches news:
Did you know that watches make a good place to put paintings, other than just the plebeian task of telling the time? Thats right, don't waste valuable art real estate when you could be toting around portraits of dead aristocrats on your wrist.Knowing this obvious fact, Swiss watch company Angular Momentum has been making Eglomise watches for a while, and their new "Imperial Russian Collection" is perhaps the stateliest yet! They are part of Angular Momentum's Artisan Collection, which are produced at their Swiss location outside of Bern. How many times have you wished that you could carry around Admiral Ushakov on your wristand closer to your heart. Well, your ship just arrived, now you can. The collection of finely painted watch faces includes such favorites as 1) General Suvorov, 2) Admiral Ushakov, 3) Admiral Kutuzov, 4) Czar Peter The Great, 5) the Russian Empires Big Coat of Arms, 6) the Imperial Double-Headed Eagle, and more! For those of you curious how Angular Momentum can get
...please do not take this as a shilling...I really tried and even asked some esteemed moderators, no luck thus far.I am selling this watch for my dad and dad-being-dad, misplaced all the booklets and cards. I have this watch listed up for auction but cannot find its proper model number. I have already received some serious interest about the watch, but I can't answer the questions about the exact model number.Your help will be greatly appreciated.T.I.A !!M.
I just saw another interesting Longines on eBay:cgi.ebay.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=280407976218Seems to be a mix between a dive watch and a pilot's watch. The dial reminiscent of the Lindbergh Hour Angle watch, but the case and bezel is a dive watch through and through. The bezel itself looks like a sub bezel, but there hare many lookalikes out there. What do people think? Is this a franken, or was there a genuine Longines that looked like this one? I certainly haven't seen anything like it before.
Hi-I just purchased a pre-owned 5039-R from a dealer in Germany. The side portion of the case (the part where the stem is, all around the watch with the exception of the portions where the band attaches) are brushed rose gold. The portions where the strap attaches are not brushed, leading me to believe the watch originally came with buffed, not brushed gold, and it has been brushed to remove/hide scratches. It has also occurred to me that I could be totally wrong, and that this is part of the style.Does anyone know/have any opinions. Searches on the internet seem to show watches with both brushed and buffed gold in this ring. Any assistance/thoughts are appreciated.
I currently own a SS Datejust (36 mm) and a large Cartier Roadster and I am thinking about purchasing a Seamaster 2220.80.00. The problem is I do not have a large wrist. I love my datejust but I know the trend these days is for larger watches. My 39 mm Roadster fits great. The Sedamaster will be a weekend watch for me. Does anyone with a small wrist who owns a 41 mm Seamaster have any advice? Thanks!
