- Very pretty watch and a real versatile piece; can be easily dressed up and down. I am very pleased with it. The stones are large and shiny.

Breitling A13370 wrist watches news:
The most interesting, or I should say curious, introduction from Rolex this year is the Air King reference 116900. First, I never really expected to see an Air-King at all ever again after the new Oyster Perpetual was brought out last year, but here it is. And on top of that, the Air-King is back in, frankly, a semi-foreign form as a 40 mm, anti-magnetic aviator's watch with a multi-color logo. We'll get to that, so let's first talk about the brand new Explorer, which is a really similar watch, also introduced this year, that, in my opinion, will be often compared to the new Air-King. The Rolex Explorer Reference 214270 1 OF 4 The new Explorer features new luminous applications and longer, wider hands for better legibility. So the new Explorer reference 214270, as introduced here on HODINKEE last week, is very much the same as the outgoing iteration of the same reference with its Oyster Perpetual case at 39 mm, 100-meter water resistance, and in-house caliber
Can someone help me identify what year & model this is. I think it's between 71-75' and came from Europe. I got this when I was a kid back around 77' from my grandfather. I recently got it working again. New second hand sweep, crown & crystal. It is a self winding, quick set day date calendar. The gold electro plate is pretty much gone. I think the watch tech said it was a Felsa movement. Thanks for the help,Odin
I wish this watch was about 20% larger. The Tuxedo is a great looking watch, but for me it is sadly just too small to wear. Another great 14K case by Solidarity.
The first thing you see when you go to the Rolex website is this pic of the blue SkyD. Also they have been constantly showing it in the electronic billboard. REALLY!! Why constantly show/advertise a watch that they basically let no one purchase? Teasers I suppose...and yes I'm not so patiently awaiting one.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had always wanted the GMT II Pepsi and ended up finding a nice vintage one at a Rolex AD near me. I ended up paying $7100 and getting a service thrown in for my blue submariner. I'd like to think I got a fair deal. The markers no longer glow but I know that's not worth upgrading. Anything else I should know about this watch? I was thinking of looking for an oyster bracelet for it. It has a jubilee now. I am having some trouble uploading a photo.
