After wearing my"homage" for the last month, it has convinced me to purchase a Pam
I like the weight and feel and size. I am looking at an entry level Pam. Maybe 114? I love the look, however it is time only, I kind of like other stuff like seconds hand.. I will be buying 2nd hand from a dealer I have done business with before and I totally trust. They have a 114 in the low3k range. Is that about right? He does not have the box or papers however. Watch is immaculate. Since it is entry level, and I plan to keep it for a long time, will it hold value in 3k range? I know everyone here hates to talk $, I am just wondering if entry level watches in premium brands hold their value over time. Especially since this is as basic a wind up watch you can get.. Also I am assuming it is NOT an in house movement. Am I correct. Thanks

I'm looking at buying a 5711 White Dial (to complement my growing collection) but cannot find one to try on to finalise my decision... the AD's in Houston do not have one in stock. Is there anyone in the Houston/Galveston Area that you could recommend to view and buy through? Is there anyone in the area that has one that I could maybe meet up with for coffee on a Sunday? Hi guys,I hear often that 324 is a very reliable movement. I am just curious, has anyone here owned a Patek with 324 movement for more than 5 years without any service? How about caliber 240? Anyone had 240 movement watch fro more than 5 years without service? I hear often the stories from Rolex owners that their watch goes for 10-15 years without any service. Would be nice to hear similar stories about Patek. Here is my 5127 next to the 5227 brothers at the Patek Salon in Geneva. Enjoy!
