I figured I'd post some pictures of this while I had it opened. It's an English minute repeater from around 1890.This is the view under the dial and again with some parts removed The piece in the center tells the repeating mechanism what time it is by the "steps" on it's arms. This is the minute and quater rack. Just remember this was made without the use of computers and modern cutting technology , just a saw and files. Here it is back in place. This is a replacement spring made for the watch about ten years ago when first purchased and the reason it made it's way to me.It's like seeing an old friend.
Finally got some photos of the Maurice Lacroix and Orbita. My indoor photography could use a little help - if you want to see my decent photos they're all of desert landscape.
Anybody see this? Just announced, looks pretty good to me.
