.....or in other words,Trading OverseasWell GuysHow many of you have done this?I've come close on two occasions only to be narrowly outbid. I know some members here and elsewhere have bought from overseas. I guess that assuming all precautions were in place, buying from a trusted source who was based abroad would be no more different to closing a deal with someone on the other side of town. Well that isn't all perhaps. Depending on where you are, import tax could be a killer..:eek:Have you ever tried selling and indeed shipping overseas?I tried swapping once but both parties eventually realized that unless you were well-versed in this practice, it is really no small logistical feat. Last week I picked up a new MARK XVI and so far so good.I am quite taken with the watch but have noticed that the buckle on the strap contains many SHARP edges. In fact they are so sharp that I can't believe this is normal. Can someone else have a look at their buckle and tell me if this is par for the course, or do I have an anomoly? Also, I notice thatthe buckle and strap are a fused together unit. What does the replacement croc strap cost? Thanks in advance for your help
Alright, I have been in need of a dressy watch for quite some time, I just bought myself a seamaster but it's not exactly dressy. I have been interested in this:But now I think I might have found a replacement for it:What do you think? Quality and recognition on par or close to?
Hi gang. I have a 1970 Omega Mark 2 that I bought in Vietnam, thought about sending it to Switzterland for restoral. It's still very nice and non faded dial, hour markers still lume briefly to this day. Should I send it for a total makeover or is it worth more all original?? Always thought they should be kept original but would really like to see this as I bought it way back when, advise welcome..
