Cartier Cartier 1764 wrist watches news:
Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum, longtime WIS. I own a 5146-G and am considering switching out for the 5146-P. Can anyone could recommend a great pre-owned modern Patek dealer (either a store or on the forum)? Thanks in advance!
Actually, I think it was UPS. . . a MIB II LE digital. . . it is fun to have a purely digital watch on my wrist. It has been a long time. Reminds me of my long gone Pulsar (no cracks, foggy).
I inherited this Silver Ancre watch in original case from my stepdad. The back of the watch case has the words (from top) ANCRE, Ligne Droite, Remontoir 15 Joyause, & NO. 32723. The dial face has the word "PATENT".. The crystal opens up. The back has "two" separate closures that enclose the internal parts. (See Pics). Inside the case is a hang tag that says "C7124, French watch, token of second world war-, Release spring can bbe repaired". There are no movement numbers visible from the back where they normally would be located. the words "Remontoir 15 Joyause" has me confused as it normally states "Rubis" on these watches. Can anyone please give me any information about this watch? Thank you,..Blrk100
Do you wear a bracelet?I'm not talking about the thing that attaches your watch to your wrist, but an honest to gosh bracelet. You know, the kind of thing girls wear!It seems to be a growing trend for gents to wear this stuff - and even match the bracelets to their watches.I've never owned one - not that anyone has ever accused me of being macho - because they seem, well, girly.Wrong? Right? Or doesn't it matter?
A couple of very nice Royal Oaks coming up for auction At Christies
