This classically elegant piece features a grand feu enamel dial and a hand-finished MBM caliber 16.29 column-wheel movement. The dial is created by heating a solid gold disk in a kiln to a temperature of about 800 degrees Celsius, fusing it to a layer of vitreous molten enamel. Repair on a Seamaster
Hi, about a month ago my 7 year old Seamaster started not autowinding. I took it to an authorized dealer (place where I bought) and they gave me an estimate of $840 for both necessary and optional repairs. Necessary repairs only around $450. Seven years ago I bought the watch $1800, a service chage for almost half the retail price. Is this normal?
