Fraud Alert - jus a heads up
Trying to sell my watch on craiglist and i had a lady email me who said she'd pay on paypal - nothing wrong so far except some bad spelling and some urgency - normally that'd be a red flag but my last watch purchase i needed shipped next day for a b-day present so i sympathized. today i got 2 emails from paypal confirming payment, but that there was a hold until i submitted the shipping info. the emails used all the paypal lingo and had all the right logos and ads, but they kept using my email address instead of my name. so i called paypal and the said DEFINITELY fake. just a heads up to everyone - those fraud guys are getting GOOD.here's the email i got from "Laura Blake" (johnsonblake@gmail) as a reference for the forum:I just want to let you know that have transfer the full payment toyour PayPal account and am sure you've been notified about thetransfer,i have also added enough money for the shipping and handlingcost has for you via USPS (EMS) I want you to get it packed very n

Hello new to the forum. I just purchased a 15400 from AD and I'm wondering when the date changes and how long it takes to completely change to the next day? Also any opinions regarding reliability of AP compared to Rolex Thank you.

Ploprof problem ''bezel''
Hello!I just arrive from China, now I'm in Russia. Las time, in Shanghai airport, not for the first time, I noticed that something was bad in the bezel of my Ploprof. I can turn the bezel, but sometimes it's hard. The first time, I said, no problem. But now... IT'S IMPOSSIBLE to turn it. Nearly fix. I think, something is bad under the bezel, some problem. I'm always traveling and this watch is always with me, looks like I should leave the watch some time in the spa.And just say one more thing, I DON'T KNOW WHY! when I put the watch under hot water, rotate the bezel one or to times... NO PROBLEM! I can use the bezel nearly for three hours, the bezel is working well, but after this time, fixed/blocked again.Any solution? Did anyone notice the same in their Ploprof?Best regards

Cellini makes Hodinkee's Watch Spotting
Not sure if someone else has posted about this but Hodinkee's Watch Spotting section has an article about former Pres. Obama wearing a Rolex Cellini reference 50509 (time only white gold) in his presidential portrait.I looked at this watch when it first came out. 39mm of white gold with a double bezel and classic time only. I like the changes Rolex made to this line. And IMOP it is a classic dress watch.

Rolex diameter choices
Does anyone know how does Rolex dictate what watches get what diameters? I'm a part of the small wrist gang, 7in, and would love to see Rolex make some 37s-39s, especially in GMTs and Subs. However, if Rolex came out with the Deepsea 116660 in a 38in...I would camp outside the AD. I like the new subs, but not a fan of the tankery on my wrist. I hope Rolex comes out with a slimmer case (already a thread about this) and/or a smaller diameter, 38in.
