New Watch Time
I was reading the latest issue of Watch Time, and they had a few articles in there about Hayek Sr. Pretty interesting stuff, but they kept referring to his chairmanship of the Swatch group in the present tense, which I found really strange since he passed away a few months ago. They made no mention of it that I saw. I actually had to go to the computer and check to make sure I was remembering correctly. Did anyone else see this and think it a bit odd?

Longines Hydro- 24hr. Impression
First off, the more I wear this huge (202.5 gram) hunk of metal the more I like it.However I'll start with what I don't like:1. The chrono second hand is just a hair off and its so slight I'm not sure it even is.2. The polished hands?...mixed feelings on that, but they lume better than one might expect.3. Polished metal attracts finger prints.Now what I do like, beside the obvious WR and bulk:1. Good time keeper thus far, 4 seconds fast in a little over 24 hrs.2. Looks cool, a little sparkle but not too much, kind goes both ways.3. Pretty tight clean finsh.4. Wide heavy bracelet, it's not tapered, but fits this watch well and is quite comfortable.5. Has the 7750 wobble, although not as noticable as my Hammy.6. The pusher are so much smoother than the Hammy, nice and smooth and precise.7. The crown is perhaps the best of all my watches, well protected yet easy to unscrew and set but still snug and easy to find the settings.So far so good...

Anyone every had an Omega Service at Bienne
Anyone ever went for a factory service rather than to a service centre where to be honest you've no idea who's working on the watch ? Assuming it'd be more expensive\ international courier etc so realise won't be cheapOmega Seamaster - 16 years old\ had since new. Never an issue till just after New Year when started going 5/ 10 min's slow every few days. Sent in for a service at a specific Omega service centre via a recomendation on another forum. Watch back after 5 weeks & over a 3/ 4 week period - the watch stops twice. The 2nd time it happened on my wrist mid afternoon. Service centre ask for it back. Last Thursday watch comes back - fully tested\ no fault found. Today - watch on wrist at 6.30 this morning. 1230 I notice that the watch stopped again at 1145. Been on my wrist for over 5 hours when stoppedTempted to write the service cost off\ rip up the papers & go elsewhere. If I do that it has to be 100% right. Dear All, I have been searching with my local AD for a ceramic sub but not much luck. I'm OK with either the date or non date version. I have the opportunity to buy a preown 114060 dated 2014, full sets box card etc, in unpolished condition for usd6900.Is this fair? Also are we ever going to get a sub at Rolex AD?
