Newbie first post - repair question
I've had a Seamaster Chronometer that's about 5 years old. Really, ever since I got it it's lost about a minute a week, about five minutes a month. I love the watch and wear it almost daily, but it's starting to drive me crazy that a Timex is more accurate.Considering its age, is it time to get it to a pro to have it "maintained"? Should I get it repaired? Where do I go, how much should I expect to pay, and how long would it probably take?I just discovered this site, I'll probably post a pic of my watch eventually since photography is a hobby.Thanks all!

Rubber Clad Back From Clearwater Today With Black Datewheel
Just got my G rubber clad back from a full spa treatment and had them replace the datewheel with the black wheel. Amazed at AP Clearwaters level of service and they beat there estimate by a month!

Well what an end to 2014! I began the year Patekless and now I have 2 pieces in my vintage Rolex dominated collection! You might remember my post from August 2014 .rolexforums/showthread.php?t=368474 I sort opinion on the 5960/1A and the 5170G, the latter eventually winning the day.Well this forum certainly enables!, like Duncan (gunrnnr) it was killing me to see the influx of 5960/1A posts, a massaging of the finances this way and that, up and down and round and around, saw me give permission to Santa to do his best in seeking me out a watch. He delivered!, I'd obviously been a good lad! (though HUGE credit goes to my very understanding wife in letting me proceed and who tolerates my passion especially as I know the money I spend could be put to many other uses, especially needy family ones). I don't think I'll be able to emulate 2014 come this year but that won't stop me enjoying this great forum as much as have to date. My new acquisition, a still sealed 2014 PP 5960/1A to acco

What do you think of Aquanaut models?
My interest being new to Patek Philippe as some already know, and my tastes being mostly in sporty/dressy watches, I look at Nautilus and Aquanaut models, but have to say don't think I would buy an Aquanaut, sure it's a nice watch but seems very basic in design, when the Nautilus has a very original, a little bit 70's style but cool enough to be actual.I think if I do get one day a PP I will prefer to flip a few watches that I don't wear anymore, add a few thousand and get a Nautilus, they have much more appeal to me, I understand if someone prefers the Aquanauts but in my case the preference goes clearly to the Gerald Genta designed cases.What do Patek fans think about these watches?
