- By far the best watch I have ever bought. It never ceases to draw comments on the coolness factor. For a watch it doesnt overwhelm the wrist. If you think you want it you really do.

Cartier Cartier 33046 wrist watches news:
Seems like we have quite a few new members, so how about one thread to introduce yourself? Post a picture of yourself, your family, your watch(es), and tell us a little about yourself. I'll start:This is Windy & I in Maui December 2007. She has family there so we had plenty to do besides the normal vacation/touristy stuff. Here's my Aqua Terra 2504:My 1960 Seamaster De Ville:My 1961 Constellation pie pan:and my early 70's Constellation I just acquired (at the watchmakers now):If you ever see me refer to my "Eleanor", it would be about this:It's an 18K Constellation with the matching 18K band. Either an original Omega signed band or a Milanese version would do for me. (the Eleanor is a Gone in 60 Seconds reference as I can never complete a deal to own one - and it's my grail Omega)Let's see some of your photos!
Hi Guys,Just thought I woudl throw some Chinese/Swiss into the arenaSea-Gull movements with Swiss origins - or what do we have. On based on a 2879 (that I foud in an ENICAR) and a 2783 that was in a Sea-GullJust food for thoughtAlso my new Parnis - see other postI would put more photos, but my internet connection is slow.DanOrange
Seems to be like the fashionable trend towards bigger watches. A lot brands seem to be doing it, even updating watch models to have a display back where previously it was solid. It would appear, from what I read, this is because it is popular for most customers. Am I among the apparent minoritY that prefers solid casebacks (preferably nicely engraved)?People might say why hide away a beautiful movement? But I think having a movement that cannot be readily seen but you know is still nicely decorated is as satisfying if not more so. Is this a fad or a permanent trend? Will solid casebacks make a comeback?
I mean as far as blue chrono's go? That spacific blue w/ blue chrono's and a s/s bracelet? W/o the Omega price.I have this Seiko that I LOVE, just wish the chrono's were blue and a numbered bezel.....opinions?
So this arrived a couple of weeks ago, just getting around to making a post now. I had purchased a 5110g in May, and although i really liked it, pics of the blue 5110p made me second guess my decision. Anyway, a few weeks and one trade later, this one arrived. its not my first patek, but its my first platinum piece. special thanks to ken for some advice and enabling!
