- Sturdy and stylish. I've gotten many compliments on this watch. The frame is raised, which helps to tect the face from scratches.

- This watch is exceptionally beautiful. The picture given doesn't do justice. It is much more shinier and colorful. I absolutely love it.

- This is a beautiful looking watch but not for an older wrist. it is too heavy and on my achy joint and the sub dials too to read even with my glasses on.

Well I was a little suprized to see this in my stocking when I looked in it! LOL She also got me a IWC Big Pilot, (well just a picture for now it should be in Monday) UPS was delayed b/c of the weather in the North East! Either way it gives me a chance to wear my Oris, great watch, keeps awesome time and looks awesome with jeans and t-shirt! Only bad thing I'm gonna need a bigger watch winder now!
I bought an AP royal oak 15300 F series from one of the sellers on here and while the Watch was cosmetically in good shape, I took it to 2 different watchmakers and they confirmed the amplitude was running low. 190-230 and +10-15 seconds consistently at both AD¡¯s. I paid what I consider a premium for the Watch which is frustrating that I may now have to ship it off to Clearwater and throw and extra 1k into the watch. Was my fault seller didn¡¯t confirm service history only said it was running very well and I trusted him. My fear is it could have been never serviced but I don¡¯t know. Is it worth sending in now?
So, I've been following AP for some time now. I have recently looked at the AP ROO Bumble Bee and really like the look. Now, my wrists are a little small at sub 7. So when I went to the AP dealer to try it out, I had to get hornback strap basically to the last hole.... now this caused an issue with the metal deployant to be riding up one side of my wrist. The salesperson said that there is a shorter version of the strap - is this true? Also - what are the pro's and con's of the Bee? Is it really discontinued and is there a replacement soon?I was also thinking of a Panda on bracelet - that looked really nice and the bracelet just wraps my wrist so well.... cheaper too... thoughts on the current Panda 42mm vs the Bee?Looking to buy one and keep for a looong time. And what is there to know about these newer pushers? Are they coming down the 42mm line? I can't pull off the 44mm I don't think. THANKS!
Picked this guy up today, 5980 blue dial--my first Patek! I wanted something with a metal bracelet for my first Patek because I don't like wearing leather on a daily basis especially in the summer, and i've always been drawn to the Nautilus and especially the 5980. The fit and finish of this watch is outstanding, and I just love the blue dial and the way it seems to change colour in different light. I think the dial has a really clean look for a chrono and i'm glad to be able to add it to my collection! The only negative things I can say so far is the clasp seems a little 90s, and the rotor makes a little noise when it turns almost like a faint ratcheting sound. Not a big deal I guess, I think i've just been spoiled by the silent Rolex rotors. I asked the dealer about it and he said it was normal and i've also read that it's fairly common for the 5980 online as well. Anyways here is the customary wrist shot! Glad to finally be part of the Patek club! And from the drive home fro
