Cartier 1050 1 wrist watches news:
Now in its seventh season as the official watch partner of AT&T Williams, Oris introduces the Williams F1 Team Day Date. The 44mm black DLC stainless steel case surrounds a slotted dial featuring the Williams F1 team blue and white colors. A blue silicon shock absorber has been placed between the bezel and case to help isolate the movement from shocks. The Williams logo appears on the dial just above the six. Additional details appear below the image, which may be enlarged with a click.Product FeaturesOris Williams F1 Team Day Date? 44.00 mmRef: 735 7634 4765 RS¡¤ Automatic mechanical movement. Kinda cool looking dress piece, probably looks better than it should.Picked it up for a couple dollars...literally...not running but a battery should fix that if I can get the back off.Did some checking on the auction site and therein lies the problem, priced from $35.00 on up to $900.+??? I'm not that naive to think that this is a $300.00 watch but why all the discrepancies??Anyone.......
Hello everyone. Planning to get my first ROO but im in a dilemma on whether i should get the Volcano or Black Rubberclad? Im not really a fan of safari / SS black theme or any white dial or plain dial themed ROO. I've done lots of read ups on the Volcano and basically its a very loud watch with a huge wrist presence. I really love the watch but im afraid i might get tired of orange after awhile. Im always a casual person and my job dosent requires me to wear a formal attire or suit. Im more of a casual person who wears berms or jeans everyday with tees everyday. Black RC on the other hand also catches my eyes. I have a friend who wears it all the time and IMO i think its as loud as the volcano and has a huge wrist presence as well but elegant at the same time. Plus black is not something one would get bored off. The white sub dial looks stunning too. Now both are very beautiful watch that screams AP from across the room and im still deciding which one to get. I have a very good Volcano
I haven't seen anyone talking about this model which is surprising because I think it's one of the best watches from Basel this year.I loved the Speedmaster 57 when they first introduced it two years ago, but the lack of the broad arrow hour hand definitely bothered me. They called it the 57, but it lacked identity. I liked that they used it in the sub dial, but thought it would have been better as the hour hand. I also didn't like the PCLs which have also been changed for this version. Now the center links are brushed and the outer thinner links are polished. They have addressed those concerns, but they made another design choice that I'm conflicted about.Vintage Lume.I'm conflicted because I think this version looks fantastic. The black dial and the tan color of the lume look great together. I also like how the lume areas are recessed instead of applied indices. The problem is that forced vintage looks which is obviously what they are going for.Not in stores until July, but from what
I guess since I can't get enough of 'em...how about some more 5167 pics? Please forgive the dings (it was my beater for a few years)... I really enjoy this watch...btw..how long (in years) does the Lumine stay? Does the luminiscent material degrade substantially over 3 years? 10? (just curious - it's not as shiny shiny as my newer Sub C)
