Sea Wolf! As good as a Dweller?
What do you think?I really like the SW but only in the Ti, whilst I can appreckiate the watch for what it is the new SS version is just a tad too big and heavy for my 6.5" wrists.The Ti, whilst not much smaller (0.5mm?) is much lighter and more balanced on my wrist.I love the blue dial version but would probably look for a black dial as I's want it on an "Ocean Racer" strap with deployment, the blue dial may not work with a black rubber and I wouldn't want a blue rubber strap! Just me, I think it would "funk up" the look too much for my tastes.I've seen a few blue and yellow dial versions of the Ti in the "flesh" but not the black!I have a Sea Dweller and whilst I think it's awesome I'm kinda resenting all my capital being tied up in it. I can't save at present and it would take years anyway so I'm considering selling it and getting a couple to replace it.The Ti SW is one I'm considering.What's the movement like in the SW, I understand it's a Breitling Cal17? New Watch Runs Backwards
OK, I should have not done this but last week I bought a Stuhrling Sportsman 'Raven Diablo' Automatic Watch. I figured that it had a Japanese movement (Miyota I would assume) and it should be OK. The postman just brought the package, I opened it and gave the watch a few side to side movements to get it up and running and to my surprize the seconds hand moves backwards. I could figure out if the hands fell off but backwards? Of course I will work to get this transaction resolved but my question is: HOW CAN WATCH HANDS MOVE BACKWARDS? Thanks.

If you buy a Patek from a trusted seller and the watch is still within the warranty period, is that warranty transferable to a new owner? I.e. is there any penalty for not having your name on the warranty card?

I was first on the list at my AD for the new Sea Dweller. I passed on the chance to buy it when I learned it was 43mm. I told them to call me the next time they received one. I got the call earlier today. I passed again. By the way, I can buy the watch new from the AD with a slight discount and no tax.I already own a dozen or more Rolex watches and a bundle of others. Why should I buy a watch that I find way too large and heavy...? Just because I can and not everyone can...? Or maybe I ought buy it because it is supposed to be so ¡°sought after¡±...? Is the all important deal maker the small print in red...? Or maybe because it¡¯ll be cool to post a picture here and get positive reinforcement...? After all, how many watches can a man wear...? As a matter of fact, what I like about Rolex watches over just about all others is that a Rolex is dependable and durable like no other. So one watch is enough and will last you just about forever.
