Rolex cellini what's the deal?
I have come across a beautiful man's Rolex Cellini for sale but I admit that I dont know anything about them. Are they like Tudors, which are almost a Rolex, but use an ETA movement instead of an "in house " movement? Are they in fact a lesser Rolex or do they stand alongside of Rolex as equals?What's the history of these watches? Does anyone have a Cellini in their collection?

Well I was thinking whats the one brand/style of watch that just really holds that soft spot in your heart, the one that all the other's in your collection are almost based off of? for me it's diver and tool watches, it started with my invicta grand diver and rolled over into my russian divers. For the longest time I wanted a Jaeger LeCoultre, I stashed money away littl e by little til I finally had enough cash put away to purchase the watch that I so desired. Within six months of owning the watch my first heart wrenching moment, when I was on vacation in Thailand and yes one or two beers over the limit, I dropped it, because of this one of the screws loosened that caused the rotor to stick, so when I came back to the states I took it in for repair and the watch worked great. Yesterday morning, I was putting on my coat and again disastor the clasp got stuck on my coat and the watch fell off my wrist landing on my tile floor, I thought oh well another scratch but it was worse than that the minute hand was floating under the dial. Like any watch lover, worried about a sick child I left early from work to take it to my watch repair man. Now here I sit the very next day, hoping and waiting that my watch will live to beat another day.
