Cartier W20107X7 wrist watches news:
Swiss luxury goods group Richemont has announced its audited results for the year ending March 31, 2009. Overall group sales increased 2 percent, however good growth in the first six months was largely offset by lower sales in the second half of the year. For the group as a whole, operating profit declined 12%. Richemont’s specialist watchmakers saw sales increase 4% over the prior year, from €1,378,000,000 to €1,437,000,000. Sales of IWC, Vacheron Constantin and Jaeger-LeCoultre were particularly strong. All of Richemont’s long-held Maisons were profitable. However, the group incurred charges relating to the purchase of Roger Dubuis and the cost of a second SIHH in the same fiscal year. Operating results for the specialist watchmakers were €287 million versus €374 million for the prior year, reflecting a decline of 23%. The new joint venture with Polo Ralph Lauren had no impact on sales.Richemont’s specialist watchmakers include IWC, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCou
My fourth Cushion Form (not counting the very first Hamilton which I bought in my fledgling days on eBay in 1998, and which I sold some time ago), this just arrived today. It is in very nice original condition (except for newer glass crystal), and sports the special #05 raised gold numerals and inlaid enamel dial manufactured for Hamilton by Fluckiger of Switzerland. It dates to 1929 by the movement SN. Many thanks to Tom Diss for the copy of the original dial diagram, which I've included here (and some may have seen before). Case and case back have matching numbers:I hope it's had a movement service since 1966! It joins these others in the collection:These 2 wgf:This last solid green 14K:
I started searching for a "decent" watch about 12 months ago and kept coming back to the IWC range. I couldnt work out what it was about them until I strapped a Portugese Chronograph to my wrist - that was it for me! I bought myself one for Christmas 2007 and dont think I have enjoyed a more comfortable and beutiful watch. Within having it on for no more than an hour, I was already having people comment on it - this has never happened before. Well done IWC!
Just came in to this Aerospace. Any insight on a possible cause for the digital area being distorted and a possible cost to fix. love the bullhead, the strap that is standard is fine, however, i do like exotics and I'm thinking that a red rally strap (the one with the large to small diameter holes) of maybe croc or some kind of lizard with grey stiching would look good.....any recommendations on a strap maker? the tricky thing with a bullhead is that the pointy strap, not the buckle strap, has a notch cut out giving the bezel crown room to work without contacting the strap....ps i live in canada if that makes any difference
