I am preparing to take a test that prohibits anything digital/electronic but that permits analog watches with chronographs.I am on a pretty tight budget ($180 is pushing it) but I'd like to take this opportunity to pick up a decent everyday watch.I want something that looks good, can be worn day-in and day-out (nothing funky), and that has a highly functional chronograph. I want to get the most for my money, of course.I've been researching and looking at the Seiko SNDA67. I'm seeing them new for as low as $130 online. Should I go for it? Anything else I need to consider before I buy?
I'm in love with my latest purchase. I had originally wanted a Rolex Seadweller. Truth be told it was a bit of a stretch at the moment and after trying on a few they left me feeling a bit cold. I stumbled across this beauty and can't believe how good it is in the flesh. The crystal is almost impossible to see, such is the quality of the AR and the overall build quality has blown me away. I have a Speedmaster Moonwatch already and this feels significantly more well engineered. Ok it's not got the cult classic reputation the speedy enjoys and is a completely different style of watch but I'm very very happy with this purchase. The display back particularly attracted me to the watch and I believe the movement is held I particular high regard (8500) co axial. Without rambling on too much, here are some pictures. It's a 42mm.
Greetings...I am new to the forum and typically a Rolex guy but I do love the Omega Speedmaster and its lore and history. I at one time owned a 3573.50 sapphire sandwich and sold it to my father after a year or so I got the itch for another. I stumbled across what I thought was another 3573.50 and when I received it the watch had a hesalite crystal with sapphire museum back and different wording on the caseback but with the same two push button clasp as the 3573.50. In my research I discovered it was a short run 3572.50 and Omega confirmed it as a 2001 distribution/manufacture date. It came with a black Omega box and instruction booklet. Now to my questions...What was the actual run of this watch in years? On some forum discussion I stumbled across members who were discussing the rarity and increased desirability of this version due to this combination and short run. Does anyone here feel this way about this watch?I contemplated flipping it now to help fund another Rolex I'm after and t
