With the Tonda 1950, the designers at Parmigiani Fleurier capture the brand’s essence with a few brushstrokes. Parmigiani’s newest movement – the twelfth in-house caliber from the manufacture – is the PF 700, an extra-thin automatic that powers the Tonda 1950. The movement is 30mm or 13 ? lignes in diameter and just 2.6 mm thick, with an off-center micro-oscillating weight in platinum 950. A single barrel provides 42 hours of autonomy.The nickel silver main plate is sand-blasted, circular-grained and then rhodium-plated. New member with old Patek
Hello all. I have what I think is a Calatrava. This was my Grandfathers watch which was a gift to him from my Grandmother in 1968. I was hoping that some of the folks here can tell me a little more about this watch. I want to have it restored because the crystal has a tendency to pop loose but not off. I'm not the type that will take the back off to look for serial numbers and the like, I just don't trust myself to do that to this watch. It runs like a champ. The picture of the back shows the reflection of the camera lens so that's why you see lettering. I'm not the best picture taker eitherOriginal receipt:The watch:
