Great watch. Funtions take a little getting used to, but I've had no issues that would warrant a complaint. There are multiple displays for showing current HR (full display, partial display, etc.), as well as different ways to display HR (such as percentage vs. actual).

For a poly/plastic band, the watch is very comfortable and doesn't feel like it adheres to your skin and actually becomes more comfortable as you sweat.

The indigo light really increases visibility and when you're in a dark room, like for Spinning, you don't have to let go of the handlebars to read the watch; just hit the button.

I was surprised that no mating was required between the watch and the monitor band, but they just work together, straight out of the box.

Many many, years ago before I could really appreciate the non-monetary value of it, I was given an Omega watch for a birthday- possibly around 12 or 13 as one of those "you're not a kid anymore" gifts. It was a beautiful watch, very small, very elegant. What model or type it was I have no idea.Around that time I was around people who tended to take things like that for granted, and so for quite a while I was busy rebelling against "pretentious extravagance" (yes, yes. you may point and laugh now). I also had a hand-me-down and re-sized Rolex of my father's for a while, but I was never terribly fond of it. Flipped 116200 for 16570
First Rolex was a 116200 which I bought last May, always felt the 36mm a touch small. Found that 40mm is what suits me best, I’ve a 14060M and DJ41 blue dial so wanted the polar white face as a change to the other 2 Rolex I have....Traded my 116200 for this 16570, 3185 cal from 2006 which arrived today.
