- I found this way too tight. The shell pieces pinched and after an hour or so my wrist hurt. It was returned.

- Watch is great, nice fit, great band with stopper so the band does not come out when you don't want it to. Comfortable and solar with multi band 6 which is awesome. I have a Frogman and these two watches make a great companion

Seiko SUP192 wrist watches news:
Today I visited the relatively new Omega Boutique in Chicago, on N. Michigan Ave (at the Westin). My intent was to examine and try on the 4 Museum watches in the current collection. A very nice store, and I spoke to a very nice and helpful sales assistant. She was sporting a 42mm Seamaster model by the way! Here's one of the store displays...They frowned upon photos within the store, but didn't mind photography of the actual watches, thankfully. The lighting, unfortunately, was not the best. The gorgeous pieces in question are these (photos from Omega's website):1938 Chronograph with Pulsometer (516.53.39.50.09.001)1941 Chronograph (516.53.38.50.01.001)1949 Chronograph (516.53.39.50.02.001)1952 Square (Cosmic case) (5705.30.01)And in the store...All were heavy, with their gold cases, and this one (my favorite) with the articulated lugs was huge, sprawling on the wrist:The 1938 has a gorgeous porcelain dial and Breguet hands:I'm afraid the contrasting white and pink areas of the case do n
Hey guys, my name is Mike and i just took home a Portifino 8 day hw. All I can say is wow!! What can I say about the 8 days....Equisite! I love the HW in house movement, the unique strap and pretty much all else. It feels special. Have not taken her off all day. For such a large watch it wears incredibly well. It is perfectly balanced and comfortable. I love it! Can't stop grinningCheers

Hi to all..I just noticed that I had made 99 posts and I had never introduced myself, so for post 100 I figure this would be a good time to do it.I am 45 years of age, I live in Dublin in Ireland and got into mechanical watches by accident about 6 months ago, I hovered here a little before joining in October. Since joining I have had the pleasure to share in the experiences of your your new purchases and the enthusiasm you show in watches in general. I started reading the older posts in the beginners forum and decided that I needed to stop making impulsive purchases and try educate myself a little about what this hobby involves. CH has been very helpful in correcting my grammer and has offerered some nice words, ulackfocus has saved me from making a silly purchase on a dodgy Omega and I enjoyed our posts about the Longines Ultra-Chron. The rest of the guys have been very kind about my very cheap little collection and offerered friendly advice and responded positively to other threads
I have an AP ss/gold date with gray egg crate face. Purchased used 5 years ago. Do you know model and current value?
