Cartier W5310023 wrist watches news:
Has anyone else located a Hamilton Square with a center stamped as "METAL"? This one all matches, but it has a 986A movement. The portion of the center stamped "METAL" is clearly a white metal as opposed to the rest of the green (or yellow) filled case. I have wondered for the year or 2 that I've owned it if it might have been an undocumented WWII-issued watch? I have left it exactly as when I got italthough that radium-burned dial has made me twitch. :) (Plus, perhaps the use of radium can be used to date it also.)Rene, Bryan, Mark, Tom?Regards,RickPS: If memory serves, Bryan (or maybe Rene) told me when I got it that he has seen 1 or 2 of these also.
I picked this up several months ago from a member at another forum.I loved it at first sight and bought it without even researching the brand. Any of you guys have any opinions on Davosa? As usual, I love the clean lines and (near) minimalist appearance of the dial. I was thinking about picking up an Oris Classic a little bit after I purchased this watch, but the Davosa steered me away and I bought another Flieger instead...
Hi everyone,I am debating if I should trade my ss rubberclad for a rg roc. My problem is that I have a daytona and once I get that rg roc it'll feel like the same watch. Also I am not gonna get rid of my daytona I have strong sentimental feelings toward it. So any suggestion? Or should I just get a pam 233 and call it a day.
stopped into the Vancouver Omega boutique yesterday. Was looking at the new Planet Ocean LM. They only had one in stock for $5800. I was so tempted, thankfully the wife dragged me out before I pulled out my wallet. Wish I had taken some wrist shots. It is so shiny and I think nicer than the original. Also, took a look at the PloProf for comparison. What a heavy block of steel that is. Salesperson was nice enough to point out that the bracelet is shark proof, lol too bad my arm isn't. They wanted $9800 for the PloProf. A bit high for my tastes and a little to large on the wrist.
I can't get my mind off a Dark Rhodium dial 41mm datejust with diamond index in SS, WG bezel and Oyster link. The movement are different but what about the appearance? I can't see to find a side by side picture showing the difference between DJII vs DJ41...Anyone?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
