A deployant strap IS a deployant strap, right?
Guys - sorry that this is a bit of a rubbish question, but was just hoping that someone could confirm my suspisions regarding deployant straps, as I have been tearing my hair out on this one - and trust me, I am running out of hair fast!!I've been trying to source a deployant strap for the TAG Carrerra I've FINALLY ordered! (incoming thread to follow!) and I want to have the option of a bracelet or strap. I got it withe the bracelet because obviously the bracelet would be a LOT more expensive to buy seperately, and here's the thing - I don't much like the Carrera racing strap with the holes in it.SO - I picked up a TAG deployant clasp on the bay for a good price. But I don't believe its the exact one for the TAG Carrera Chronograph. But I didn't think this would matter, right?The clasp I've got fits an 18mm strap at the buckle end, and the CV2010 Carrera has a 20mm lug width I believe. So - all I needed was a nice leather strap with 20mm width, tapering to 18mm for the buckle. Now

Looking to buy a 587. I already have a 372 but I can't resist. Seams like there are a few available on chrono24 but never bought a watch overseas before and for obvious reasons it makes me nervous. If anyone out there has leads on a U.S. one I wouldn't mind either. This will be my forth as I have a 104(my first), 233, and 372..

Incoming 2018!
I didn't know I would have a new years incoming this soon, but the opportunity came and had to take it.I have been travelling overseas long-term for quite a bit, and the manager of one of the ADs I've stopped by frequently for friendly chats called to ask whether I was interested in a blue dial SS SkyD. I was pretty shocked given how much high demand and short supply there is in Asia, that this AD decided to allocate one for me. I guess knowledge and candor goes a long way in certain situations. I'm assuming the watches I rotated during my visits, and some freebie literature I dropped off for the manager didn't hurt as well I was skeptical on the 42mm diameter and case thickness, but this piece feels rock solid on the wrist. It's my first blue sunburst dial and I simply couldn't resist the temptation. My baby daughter even approved as her eyes glittered upon gazing into that dial It's been a while since I have played around with the SkyD movement, and it felt a lot more intuitive

Looking to Insure my Rolex
I just switched Homeowners insurance. They do not cover jewelry. I have a 3 year old Submariner two tone and an eighteen caret gold bracelet worth $8k that needs insuring. My wife has 2 rings worth $5k each. I was recommended by some and discouraged by others with using Jewelers Mutual. Has anyone had or know of anyone that had good luck with claims from them or any other insurance company. I hope to never make a claim, but in the event that I need to, I would like to think that there will be no hassle. Jewelers Mutual and Chubb seem to be the big ones that pop up on the search engines.
