- I enjoy this watch strap more than the original rubber strap. I wear it daily and occasionally sleep with it on. I have not noticed any blems with it, and for the price, it's perfect.

TW Steel CE3014 wrist watches news:
The mood was refreshingly festive inside a packed pavilion in front of Hall 1 at Basel as luminaries from the world of watches gathered to celebrate Elizabeth Doerr¡¯s new book, 12 FACES OF TIME: HOROLOGICAL VIRTUOSOS. Slated for release this fall, 12 FACES is a non-commercial, close-up look at 12 leading independent watchmakers and their mechanical masterpieces. Leonid Khankin, owner and creative director at the Swiss-American watch company Ernst Benz, threw the party to simultaneously celebrate the launch of his company¡¯s Instrument Series and to honor the horological heroes profiled in Doerr¡¯s book. (L to R): Leonid Khankin, Elizabeth Doerr and Philippe Dufour enjoy the festivities.Seven of the featured watchmakers attended and guests enjoyed a rare opportunity to meet and speak with this august group that included Philippe Dufour, Vianney Halter, Roger Smith, Kari Voutilainen, Felix Baumgartner, Beat Haldimann and Thomas Prescher. The watchmakers featured in the book not able to mak
Just purchased the new Hamilton Below Zero. I was looking for a dive watch and saw this at an AD in the mall. Prior to seeing this watch I was looking at Bathys Hawaii or Victorinox. But this Hamilton watch is huge, and it looks awesome in person. I love the black on black on black. Can't beat it.
Hey all.I'm looking for an inexpensive watch for daily wear. $100 or less is my ideal price range.I love the look of the Hamilton Viewmatic, but I'm not ready to spend $700 on a watch yet:Hamilton Watch ¡¤ ViewmaticBrown leather band, clean, simple silver face without a bunch of extra stuff on it. I like the 6,9,12 numbering with the dashes in between, with the simple date window.Considering all that, any recommendations for a cheaper, similarly styled watch? [non-sponsor links removed]These Skagens are the closest I can find to the kind of styling I'm looking for, although a 40mm case diameter seems ideal for my wrist. Suggestions?
First let me say hello. I've been a lurker for quite a while now and enjoy browsing on this forum. Let me first start by saying that I am an Omega FREAK!! I've always loved the Planet Ocean series. From the calibre 2500 to the current 8500. They are just awesome. I have finally reached the point in my life where I'm ready to take the plunge and get my first real timepiece. After lots of researching and countless trips to the A.D. I have narrowed my selection down to just a couple. I believe that the watch I will be buying is either the Omega Chronograph 9300 or the Omega 8605 GMT. Both watches are unique in their own way and I'm not going to go into the differences because you all know what there are. My question to members on this board is which one would you choose? I look forward to the discussion that ensues and everyone's answers. I know that either watch I choose will be a great watch, just don't want to have any regrets. Thanks Dave
