Vintage omega identification
hi guys, i recently posted about a vintage omega i have that was my grandfathers. i dont have pics atm but i have the model number and serial and wondering if anybody can shed some light on it weather it is worth repairing as i am looking at about $1000 for a full overhaul as it is in terrible condition.Watch Model Number: 2667.3SCWatch Serial Number: 13641136 ive narrowed it down to about 1952 but i can not find any information on it online maby i am looking for the wrong things all help appreciated thank you

An Oddball With A Story
I just got a watch, a real oddball, but it fits perfectly with my collection. It's a pocketwatch - kind of...It's REALLY SMALL!! Just to show you HOW small, here it is with a 16s Hamilton 992E, and a 10s Elgin 546...Really, it's a wristwatch with no lugs, and a bow. Kind of funny, since nowadays so many watches seem to be pocketwatches with lugs. It's running a 19j, 13/0 sized Elgin 732 movement - one of the Durabalance series.Runs well, but needs a cleaning.It's reminiscent of the 'Nuns Watch' that Elgin sold back in the 40s and 50s - sterling silver case, white face, sweep seconds - but this is engraved for a man:'Herci to Myles, 6-8-62'. So, apparently a man's watch, despite its tiny size.I'd never heard the name 'Herci' before, so I googled it. The top 3 entries were in Croatian, but the fourth referred to a 'Herci Marsden' a former ballet dancer and now Artistic Director and Choreographer for the State Ballet of Rhode Island. Turns out, she and Myles Marsden, her then-husban

Other than member AutoMovt, I don't believe I have seen anyone claim to own one of these. This is Hamilton's version of Swatch Group brandmate Tissot T-Touch, a very popular line of watches. Anyone own either or have opinions about these unique quartz time pieces?pix from ewatches

I'm not asking this in the OIF since (theoretically) it is not Invicta.SOHow come the highly touted Potger Pietri brand that was supposedly such a big deal as a quality manufacturer and (I assume the marketing precursor of the "Reserve" line )is all of a sudden showing inexpensive quartz models as their offerings at the TV site??I shudder to think that the Potger Pietri name was simply a marketing ploy.No Way.Not Lalo(any one see coiffman lately???)
