- It's a nice looking watch, the face is not , but it does sit up high, and its a bit heavy. It wasn't very easy to read, so I return it for one that is.

Breitling AB042011/F561-leather-blue-tang wrist watches news:
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and have to say I found this site very helpful.Looking to purchase a new 2008 Sea Dweller from an AD. Just wanted to ask what is a good price to get the Sea Dweller at. Should I be paying retail or should I be looking for discounts? And how much of discount should I be asking for? Thanks!
I¡äm getting lazy in old days. I use to do so good preparations for a pic as I can. Here is the orginal pic, untouched. Then when I have edit it so did I see the bezel is not in correct place. So I have to turn it where it should be.Now I can sleep when I have told you. Jocke
Why? The hands are on so tight (especially on the chronographs) that they are very difficult to remove without damaging them. The easiest way to handle them is to just tear them off and charge the customer for a new set.The fact is that a good watchmaker can remove and replace them without doing any damage. There might be good reasons to replace them, but why if they still look new? Here's a couple of before and after overhaul pics I posted in the General Discussion Forum. And 3 1/2 hours later (with many interruptions). The hands on this baby would have cost this customer an extra $85, but the originals were used.Steve
Well, for a really silly reason. One of my guilty pleasures is reading Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt novels for pure escapism and suspension of disbelief. And what does Dirk Pitt wear? You guessed it - a Doxa. I wonder how many Doxas have been sold because of Clive Cussler. I'll have to go back and re-read one of them to figure out what model he wears, but I seem to remember it being referred to as his trusty watch that has basically been heavily abused, but can always be relied on.
I have been eyeing this recently polished automatic omega speedmaster reduced size in really good condition. These smaller 38mm watches with 19mm spring bars are typically a good fit for small wrists.I like this one because it doesn't try to resemble the larger man on the moon speedmasters. I am curious what others think.I had a similar reduced size omega two years ago, though it wasn't in this good of condition...
