- Love that watch. Anything I can find to wear with it, I will wear just so I can wear the watch.

- It is kind of heavy and I don't like that I need to wear it everyday or I will need to adjust the time.

- This watch is more impressive in person than it is online. Great engineering as well as beautiful artistry. I receive constant compliments, and it is mistakenly thought to be a very expensive time piece.

Hi All,Im a 29 year old working in washington dc. Im looking to invest in my first real watch(the fossil's i owned in high school and my first year of college do not count). Im interested in three watches by IWC and am having difficulty deciding which one may be the right watch for me. Im interested in a timeless classic design and have narrowed my choices down to the three watches mentioned above. I recognize all three are great timepieces and wanted to get some opinions about them from those on the forum. Please let me know your thoughts. It seems the 5001 is quite a bit more than the first two but how should i differentiate between the 3714 vs the 3233?thanks
In its September 1933 price list, Hamilton lists a Greenwood with a gold filled case, using the 050 dial and 987 movement(same as a Greenwich), but with a braided leather cord. Is the cord a leather strap like on the later Winslow? Has anyone actually seen one of these?
Hi, I'm new here. I've noticed more and more companies are starting to make their own movements now. I think it's a great thing..
Hey All,I've been wanting to add a precious metal dress watch for while, but my eye has been firmly set on my next stainless sports watch acquisition. My friend and I have been talking dress watches and took a trip to NYC to do some browsing. After having the Patek 5196 on, I'm obsessed. I have a Rolex Sub and I've always been a one watch guy, but I really want a piece of Haute Horlogerie. Before being derailed by the 5196 my plan was to get the RO 15202 and it be my only watch. It's obviously not as robust as the Sub, so I've been having doubts. With the price difference between what the 5196 is available for and the 15202, I would be able to justify the stretch and keep the Sub and get the 5196. I feel like I'd have a pretty well rounded two watch collection. Does that make any sense to anyone?? haha Am I nuts to be thinking to forgo the Jumbo? I looked at the 5196J (yellow gold) and the 'R' (pink gold). I only tried on the 'J' because the strap was already flexed and I felt bad bend
