Blancpain Blancpain 40942 wrist watches news:
What do the Apple Watch and the MB&F HM6 Space Pirate have in common? They are each recipients of Red Dot? Design Awards 2015. On top of that, the Apple Watch and the MB&F HM6 Space Pirate are the only two timepieces in this current round of Red Dot awards to receive the elevated?"Red Dot: Best of the Best" designations as part of the celebrated German Red Dot award organization. I've always been fond of the Red Dot awards and tend to agree with their jury's take on design, as they not only take the process exceedingly seriously, but they take into account form, as well as function. What is very interesting about their awarding both the Apple Watch and the MB&F Horological Machine No. 6 Space Pirate watch such esteemed awards is that these products are both, in their own right, controversial when it comes to design. When MB&F released the sixth version of their Horological Machine timepiece, it was not universally loved, even by MB&F fans. Not everyone was thrilled w
If the truth be told, I am a fairly new devotee of Hamilton time pieces. Up until two months ago, my connection to WTF was through the Invicta forum and Invicta watches. I have been admiring the Hammies from a distance for about a year so I jumped at the chance to help get this new forum off and running along with foggy and all of you. What brought you to this forum? Did you start out with one or more brands of watches for your collection? Are you still actively collecting other brands? If so, what are they?
I have the 2014 AP ROO in Royal Blue and think about switching to Ceramic Diver. Is that a good choice?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1415571017.320578.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1415571052.106110.jpg
Gotta say, I prefer the Omega offerings this Basel than what Rolex have come up with. To me Omega are grabing hold on designs that made Rolex, and Rolex are moving away imo.
What does the forum think? I personally prefer the 36mm DJ and DD over their 40mm counter parts. As stated I¡¯ve got a 7.25¡± inch wrist, bigger guy but just prefer the classic case sizes in these two references. I¡¯ve tried to like the DD40 and DJ 41 but for some reason keep coming back to 36mm pieces. I guess I¡¯m just old fashioned. So what does everyone think, is 36mm too small for me? Not that I¡¯d stop wearing my 36mm pieces either way lol. Just curious what the forums thoughts are with the bigger is better trend.
