Girard Perregaux Girard Perregaux 24353 wrist watches news:
Last year at Basel World, Sinn announced a handful of curious and unexpected watches, from the diving-pilot's EZM 3F to the cleverly vintage 903 ST B E. But perhaps the most surprising was the 240 ST. Utilizing a case that dates back to at least the 80's, this barrel shaped tool-pilot is both new and a throwback. For those familiar with Sinn's line and history, you'll immediately note that the case comes from the revered 140/142 chronographs. Originally powered by the Lemania 5100, these rugged chronos are collector's pieces not just for their style, but also for their historical significance. As discussed in this article here, the 140/142s were, for a time, considered to be the first automatic chronographs worn in space. Sinn has since reissued those watches with their in-house modified Valjoux 7750 movement, the SZ01 and packed them full of their in-house tech. As expected, they command a demand a price of over $4k.The 240 ST is the first time this distinct barrel case has been used
I don't want to buy more watches. I'm waaaaaaay over budget and I need to fix my roof. Yet some of you devious enablers keep calling and e-mailing me!!! Enabler #1 called me a while back with a rare find that was mentioned at the end this thread:watchtalkforums.info/foru...orum/48721.htmHere's the direct link showing the picture of the Seamaster Pie Pan that's on it's way ():watchtalkforums.info/foru...orum/48675.htm...which led to my finding this:watchtalkforums.info/foru...orum/50188.htmWell, that should have been it for a LONG TIME. Yeah, right. Enabler #2 sent me an e-mail showing me a sweet super-mint 18K Longines Flagship with a caliber 380 (based on a Cyma 480) that I simply had to buy.of course.(seller's pics)While it isn't an in-house Longines automatic, it is an important one from the 60's and I couldn't pass it up in that condition. What made it irresistible is the dial. That's my favorite configuration for the Flagship line. Oh, BTW - original box, original crown,

If Patek d make the same references but only half of the quantity?I know it first sounds silly but with lower output and more margin the company d be able to maintain theexceptional quality as they had before .Reading about the QC issues and the high stocklevels all around i m wondering what s your opinion.
